Questions From Your Child
Before Surgery
The Day of Surgery
After Surgery
Just as no two children are alike, neither are any two hospitals. For example, while there are eight hospitals in the Denver metropolitan area that provide pediatric care, only one hospital has an integrated, high risk obstetrical unit and is a center of excellence in pediatric endosurgery. That hospital is the Mother and Child Hospital at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Hospital, of which Dr. Rothenberg is Chief of Pediatric Surgery.
There are several factors to be considered when selecting the right hospital for your child, beyond just the facilities. You must also keep in mind, proximity to your home, insurance coverage, and a previous relationship with an individual hospital. All of these elements are equally important, and each should be given ample consideration when deciding where your child's surgery will be performed.
